. . . to the body THAT LOVES

My body persevered when my mind was giving up.

She carried me forward through the days,

Patiently, without judgment, serving with love and understanding.

 

I ran out of tears but my breaths sustained me.

I ran out of motivation but my blood kept me alive.

I ran out of purpose but my soul whispered in my ear: 

there is still much to be done.
